Greeting cards

Two cards arrived this morning for me from my friend at Reshuffle.
They look great, the London will go in a frame and join our stairs gallery, the other one is for my dad for his birthday, he is an illustrator, so hopefully it's appropriate!!
Off to view a puppy this weekend, nervous and excited so we will see what happens!!

Dapdune Wharf

Today we visited Dapdune Wharf. An area by the River Wey in Guildford. It felt like a million miles from London.

OMG

As the weather was so great this weekend we decided to get up early and drive to the coast at
West Wittering on Sunday. Hadn't quite realised that the whole world and his wife, and his camper van and his BBQ and his in laws would be there too!!
Didn't take the boogie boards which of course turned out to be a big sin! Don't think I have ever been on a beach so crowded, and the tide was coming in which I guess in packed on the situation.
We did have a paddle and a jump in the waves and left early to avoid the mammoth traffic jam on the way home!

9 Today!

Our beautiful ginger haired boy turned nine today, we spent the day at Kensington Gardens which was great, the weather was fantastic!

Patterns........

Today we visited Kew Gardens, it was looking amazing there, probably because of all the rain we had earlier in the summer.
Nature is an amazing thing so tried to take a few pictures to reflect the patterns that are created.
Especially loved the lily pads, it looks like you could sit on them.

Impressions Part 3

This will be my finally post of holiday shots, don't won't to bore anyone!!
Anyway our second week of the holiday was spent on the coast just south of Gothenburg. We stayed in a holiday house that just had the most amazing view and sunsets whatever the weather,  I would have liked to off bottled it and brought it home it was fantastic. Every so often I have to look at the photo's and pinch myself that I was actually there!

Impressions Part 2

Whilst in Malmo we had to cross the Örsund Bridge and visit Copenhagen and the Experimentaruim which the boys love. Holidays!! Impressions Part 1

We spent two amazing weeks in Sweden, experienced all sorts of weather, enjoyed empty spaces, great nature, giant skies, wonderful views and inspiring objects. We have so many photo's good and bad it is hard to know where to begin!! So I think I will show them over a few days.
So our first week was spent in Malmo we rented a house through owners direct in the Västra Hamnen area which was fantastic. We also met up with the lovely Niki who treated us to a very special crayfish dinner.

I was also excited to see I had a few new followers whilst I was away which was also exciting, so hello  to anyone new and thank you for popping by for a look.
