Measuring Tape!

This week when I did the sewing project with my son, I came across an old measuring tape, I knew I needed to scan it in and use it for something! Last night I had time for a little play.

Watch this space I am sure I will find a more suitable spot for it sometime soon.

Half Term Project...

My older son needed to practise his sewing skills for his DT project so we set about creating a sock animal, lots of fun he now plans to make some shorts for the little guy so watch this space!

Our Assignment for Bootcamp this month was to design a phone cover from our cuckoo clock mini's , a first for me and loads of fun, this is what I came up with!

Last week the next part of the MATS journey began in the shape of bootcamp, much more manageable as only one assignment a month for five months.
Our first task is to study Cuckoo clocks and tomorrow we will be given our assignment so until then this is progress so far!

The Big Apple

At long last the "something new" is finished, my plan is to create a map of cities around the world, and now with maybe a little more tweaking New York is finished!

Something New!

Something I have been wanting to do since I finished my London map was to create a few more, so finally now a few weeks later then i had hoped for, I am working on a New York one!

I am starting to play around with a couple of my photos from the Christmas holidays, hoping to turn it into a screen print.
