Its been one of those days, but lots of Valentines wishes from here in a wet and windy London.

Final Cuckoo!

Our Assignment for Bootcamp this month was to design a phone cover from our cuckoo clock mini's , a first for me and loads of fun, this is what I came up with!

Last week the next part of the MATS journey began in the shape of bootcamp, much more manageable as only one assignment a month for five months.
Our first task is to study Cuckoo clocks and tomorrow we will be given our assignment so until then this is progress so far!

The Big Apple

At long last the "something new" is finished, my plan is to create a map of cities around the world, and now with maybe a little more tweaking New York is finished!

Something New!

Something I have been wanting to do since I finished my London map was to create a few more, so finally now a few weeks later then i had hoped for, I am working on a New York one!

Playing

I am starting to play around with a couple of my photos from the Christmas holidays, hoping to turn it into a screen print.

Still Christmas!

I am thinking of putting something into the Paperchase competition, yes yet another christmas one, I think that must be the last as I am now very keen to get on with some more maps!
You can only submit one and its a charity card, any favorites?

Postcard Sale

Cissy Cook (one of the parents at my younger son's school) is organising a postcard sell at a local gallery in aid of the Princes Foundation for Children and the Art.
The Junior school children have yet to do there post card, I think that will be next weeks home challenge, lots of local artists are joining in too, so it should be lots of fun. So anyone in the local area please come and support the event, there will be plenty of lovely artwork to buy.

This is my contribution! Couldn't miss the opportunity to collage a London bus!

Yay...

One of my designs made the shortlist of the Hallmark festive competition, there are some lovely choices on there, curious to see who wins now, I definitely have a favourite.
