Its a Giveaway!

I was going to do the giveaway tomorrow but our pup is still sick and I need to take her to a referral centre in the morning, so thought I would post it today.

A little splash of brightness!

The weather is so dull in London that finally I got around to buying some daffodils, the house is so warm they are now already opening up. They look so cheerful even with the gloom.
Our pup is still not well, she been in doggie hospital since Friday, she developed peritonitis after the spay, so now just praying that the concoction of medication they have her on can make her better.
After all the lovely comments about my screen-print, I plan to do a giveaway on Thursday, so watch this space!

Doggie vs Birdie!

Still going to my screen printing class, still making many mistakes, every print seems to have something not quite right, still enjoying it though, frustrations and all. This is the latest attempt!

Time out!

Today I popped to see a friends exhibiton she has just finished an MA in illustration. Her work can be seen here. They are a talented lot of illustrators there with lots of amazing work.

A sad Cookie

Our poor pup has been back under the knife for some investigatory surgery, since she was spayed a month ago she has not been well, some kind of infection they think but finally yesterday they decided to take another look inside!! Didn't find anything much from what I can work out, so now she needs to rest, finish the never ending antibiotics and just hope she recovers. She is sitting in the cats basket that always makes her feel so much better!

Somehow, I just couldn't throw them away, luckily the sun shone today, so I could take a few photos, now I can lay them to rest!!

A little treat

Today a parcel arrived from Norway, lucky me it was my giveaway win from the lovely Arctic Mum, she has a fab blog about life in the frozen North and also a shop full of lovely goodies. Anyway our cat was very happy with the arrival of the cushion cover and made herself at home straight away and I now just need to pop out and get a square pillow for the inside.
