Gabote.....a fab tea towel

A friend of mine has created a great Tea Towel and has just opened up an Etsy shop, go take a peep! Gaby has lots of things in the pipeline too, which is very exciting as she creates such lovely designs.

Need I say more.....!

I am sure most of the U.S will be celebrating today, or at the very least will be relieved!

Its a mess around!

I have so little time when the kids are on holidays to do anything, but I did manage to grab an hour yesterday to mess around a little with my screen print.

Halloweened!

It is not my favourite day but this year my boys even wanted to go trick or treating..........anyway we cut the pumpkins we cut up white sheets, and off they went........then it started to rain so they all came home!!

Autumn Magic

Everyday now the colours change and as the kid's are off school, we are out and about a lot more, so who can resist the odd snap or two, the colours are so wonderful at the moment.

Hit and Miss!

This term I started a screen printing course at Putney school of Art.
Its all very hit and miss and so far we have only been allowed to do paper stencils so this is my first very basic print, an adaption of my London Bus Digital Print! Don't think a single one was perfect but I enjoyed the process and it was good to work with real paints  and inks for a change.

Some friends just set up a shop on Etsy with lots of Vintage goodies, must be worth a peep!

Cool Lights

On a very grey sunday on the South Bank, whilst visiting the Festival Halls we spotted the New Light Modulator, it was great to see something full of colour in the gloomy light. I loved all the different tones, textures and reflections, they must look amazing at night.

Autumn

Today was a beautiful weather day in London and we managed to squeeze in a walk to our local common, the leaves are only just changing but it all looked perfect in the soft October light.
