12 Months of Paint

Gosh somehow two weeks have pasted since I lasted blogged, with all the different social media platforms its very hard to keep up.
Today I post the piece I did to join in with the lovely prompts for 12 months of Paint.
This months theme is Green.

Birdies

A great new group has been set up by Johanna Fritz called Fritziflock, an illustration group with lots of tips and advice, workshops etc, every week Johanna comes up with a bird related topic to illustrate called Fritzifriday, these are a few of mine so far. Week 5-Home Decor-Wood

The end of a very busy five weeks of Lilla Rogers Home Decor course and lots of new designs too send to my licensing agent. The final week was designing for wood products with the importance of on texture being the highlight! I also selected my favourite five items from each week that could stand together.

Week 4, Home Decor - Ceramics

Week four already over and moving onto the final week, last week was all about designing for ceramics, using a quote or two along the way.

Week 3, Home Decor-Glass

This week we were designing for glass products, always a challenge to come up with a cohesive collection.

Week 2, Home Decor-Fabric

A really hectic week, but happy with how it all turned out.

Home Decor Week One

The first week of Lilla Rogers Home Decor is over, all our designs are uploaded to flicker and we are onto week two!
I picked the Farm Yard theme, perfect colours and subject matter.
Week one is Metal! Still have a few more products to add, but this is it for now.

Getting Ready

Next week the new home Decor Course with Lilla Rogers starts, excited to get stuck into that and hopefully create some great new work!

Week 2 of 52 Greetings

Hope I can keep up with this challenge, as its great to create new images for my portfolio.
This is week two of the Greeting Card Challenge.

New Things.............

I thought I would try this year to join in with two challenges that are hopefully manageable, always a good way to create some new images, so I will be attempting to keep up with August Wren and friends with there 12 Months of Paint, a new theme each month, one image a month!
This month the theme was blue, so pretty hard to resist.

Second Challenge is with Steph Fizer Coleman and her 52 Greetings project a greeting card design each week for a year! Lets see how I do, full of good intention at the moment so long may it last!
