Inbetween school holiday activities, visits from friends and general everyday life these are a few things that I have been playing with this week.

Home Decor, week 5 -Wood!

Back from  a lovely vacation and time to post the finally week of the Home Decor Course.
The course was great, hard work, inspiring and enlightening, cant wait to do some more creations with all my ideas.

School holidays are under way and the routine of the day has changed.

With the holidays now fast approaching time is flying by in a blur with the added excitement of the Lilla Rogers course thrown in. Last weeks was glass!

Home Decor-Fabric

Week two (fabric design) of the Lilla Rogers and Margo Tantau course flew by in a whirl, loved every minute and came up with the designs below!

Home Decor-Metal

At the 11th hour I decided to sign up for the new Lilla Rogers Home Decor course, hard to resist playing with designs and applying them to products, and learning from Lilla and Margo whats not to enjoy! Its a bit like being a child again in a sweetie shop. Many years ago I studied textiles at collage and I guess I moved away from that and went into illustration but deep down somewhere in me has always been a love of pattern and colour and somehow now in  my work that is reappearing and I m loving every minute of it!

Digital Nomad....

Last week was the final assignment for MATS Bootcamp, and the theme was for an editorial article about working independently anywhere, about being a digital nomad. Really had fun with this one and kind of sad it was the last piece but of course have plenty of other things to keep me busy, you can see every ones lovely images here.

They could definitely do with a little bit of love! oh and my peacock landed up on the shortlist so thats pretty cool!

Day Dreaming...

This week I have been listening to the taster video's of the new MATS Home Decor course by Margo Tantau, lots of very helpful tips and snippets of inspiration, the video yesterday encourages you to visualise your designs on products so decided  to have a go.
