Sunshine and Showers!

The weather is now getting a bit boring, but it inspired me to try out some new designs to cheer things up a little!

Wet!

It has been so wet in London and today is even wetter!
I have been tidying and sorting all week in preparation for Beccy to come and take some photograph's today but it is just too dark, gloomy and wet!!
Everyone is now under strict instructions to keep things tidy till Friday!! Fingers crossed for the weather too.
My desk has never looked so organised!!
Also managed to finish and frame my friends print, hope she likes it!!

Day Out!

Today I had a lovely visit to the Print Fair with an old family friend Karen, I mentioned a while ago that she had produced a book of her work, today I was finally able to get a copy it is full of Karen's inspiring paintings and beautiful prints, so many wonderful colours a good ante dote to the rain and grey skies that we are experiencing at the moment. Also liked the phone box which hides behind the gates of the Royal Academy of Arts entrance.

London 2012!

A friend wanted a picture to celebrate London's big year so did a bit of redesigning!

Tulips phase 3

Today life went almost back to normal, boys back to school, me clearing up after the holidays, only difference is my husband had to go back to Germany as his granny is very sick.
My tulips are still giving me pleasure every time I am downstairs so couldn't resist taking a few more photo's. The red birdies I look at every time I wash up, they were a wedding present from a friend in Finland many years ago....

Brights!

It was so foggy this morning that I decided we needed to brighten up the day a bit and luckily eventually the sun did shine! My youngest son wanted to make some cheerful looking cupcakes and of course my tulips are getting better by the hour!! The mobile hangs in our winter garden it cheers me up everyday!

Germany!

 Easter was spent visiting my husbands relatives in Germany, we spent a lot of time hiding from the weather and eating too much chocolate! But luckily we did just manage a little sight seeing in Dussledorf and Koln!
My cousin house and cat sat for us and on my return I was treated to a lovely bunch of my favorite flowers.

Structures!

Yesterday my cousin and her family arrived and we went to meet them from Kings Cross, St. Pancreas, which is now home to Eurostar. it is a pretty grand station and I took a few snaps while we were  waiting.

Jelly!

Our teenage cat Jelly, spent the whole day tearing around the garden, by this evening she was so exhausted she fell asleep on the velvet cushions, I had to take a couple of pictures as she look so sweet!
