Happy Christmas

We always stay at home for Christmas, but we are looking forward to my Dad, Stepdaughter and partner visiting for the day tomorrow.

Hectic.....

So not ready this year and sadly have had no time to create any new festive images, but very happy today to be included on Print and Pattern Blog.................
I am a little quiet on my blog these days but I still try to post each day over on Instagram so pop over and say Hi, I would love to hear from you.

A couple more.....

This week I added a three more designs to my tea towel collection. You can find them over at my shop on Etsy-oneappledesigns
I also still have a few Alphabet posters left. Every sale at the moment comes with a couple of Christmas cards.

Tea Towels

Somehow my blog is always the last one to be updated.
Anyway I finally got around to having a small print run of tea towels printed and they are now in my Etsy Shop, more designs will also be coming in the following weeks. Its always exciting to have some real life products in my hands rather then always seeing images on my screen.

Birdies

From all my sketchbook birds from the last couple of weeks, I developed a pattern. I'm going to create some greeting cards to go with it, as somehow I thought it may make a good gift wrap.

I also started to put together another one that involves dried seed heads and warbler type birds.

I recently rediscover my Old Hamyln Guide to British and European Birds from my childhood and have set about making a few studies in my sketchbook of various beautiful specimens.

The start of a new month and new school years for my sons. Looking forward now to getting back into a routine and getting stuck back into work again.

Catching up!

Its been a while and my poor blog is a little neglected but with all the social media things it is very hard to keep them all ticking over.
This year we were away for three week and I tried to keep a snipping sketchbook for as much of the time as it was possible.
Anyone who is over on IG will of seen most of them, but for the folks that haven't here are a few of the images that I snipped!

Garden Florals

Part of my 100 day project was to snip some flowers that I found around my tiny city garden.
I really enjoyed this part of the project as I love plants and flowers, so I tried to match the textures and colours as much as possible. If you fancy checking out a few more you can see my day to day bits and pieces over on Instagram.
The 100 day project is now at an end with only a couple of days left, its had its highs and lows but I am of course very happy to have reached the end of the process.

A special meet up.

A few months ago I met up with the lovely Carmen from a Traveling sketchbook,  she is creating a sketchbook as she follows her passion for travel and meeting people.

A few pups from my 100 day project!

The hundred day project is now on its final stretch and after lots of procrastination I decided just to do random 1/2 hour snips. This week was all about pups and kittens.
