Sunshine!!

Today finally the sun came out and it actually didn't rain, time for a few photo's at the local park as apparently tomorrow will be wet again.
The holidays have been hectic, no time for any real thoughts, but time spent preparing and clearing away meals and catching up with family that we rarely get to see.

The night before Christmas.......

Well almost, the boys finally get around to putting together the Ginger Bread House, luckily this year the icing was nice and sticky so no collapsing sides!!
Now all they want to do is eat it!!!

Almost!!

The excitement is building in our house and school is out, I even had to play a game of Monopoly so
it must be the holidays!!

Cookie factory

Today we needed to bake and decorate Cookies for my youngest son's school project, tomorrow they sell them at school! The project was done in pairs, they designed posters, and boxes to sell them in! They have worked out how much profit they should make and then tomorrow they set up shop!
With a little bit of help they had lots of fun and the kitchen just about survived two nine year olds!!

Yes, we finally managed to decorate, so difficult to take photo's though, it is always so dark!!

Neither the dog or cat have knocked the tree over but there is still time!!

The cat keeps hiding underneath the tree which is never a good sign!!

Thanks to my puppy,  I now get to see the beautiful things that nature creates.

My print making class is now almost over for this term,  these couple of images are from my last  design of this years class.

New Items

Today I got around to listing a few new things in my Etsy shop.

It's started!

The mad panic that is December seems to of started..........so we filled our chocolate advent gloves and socks (the boys of course have Lego ones too) and decorated the Christmas Wreath and so far that is it!!

Oh and managed to go on a lovely frosty walk.......

Yesterday my younger son came home from school with his Christmas Card, it is a really sweet one and I am looking forward to sending it out, don't think I needed to do any of my own this year!

Screen Print Take 2

After a few weeks of paper stencils at my printmaking class, we have now moved on to transferring the image onto the screen photographically, so now the possibilities are getting bigger and more exciting.......the birdies were my first attempt!!
